Antony and Cleopatra.  An epic Shakespeare play I watched today at the remade Globe Theater on the South Bank of the Thames River.  It was just after intermission, the climax was the next scene and then….nothing.  Empty stage, drums rolling, awkward silence.  A director came out and stated that an actor had fallen sick and the show had ended.  What a bummer.  I’m really hoping we get to come back for another “free” performance next week so that I can figure out the end of the story (even though I know it already from what we discussed in class).

Walking back to the flat, I crossed a bridge that led to St. Paul’s.  We’ve already been to St. Paul’s, but the bridge was part of a scene from the sixth Harry Potter movie (oh boy!).  Just a fun fact for any HP fans.
