This morning we had a lovely 2 1/2 private bus tour of downtown London and Westminster Abbey.  We stopped a few times to get out and take pictures, but managed to see heaps of landmark buildings, including the Cheesegrater, Shard, and Gherkin.  We drove past Buckingham Palace, which will be our highlight tour Wednesday, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Royal Bank and the Tower Bridge.  I’m headed back downtown for a run in Hyde and Regent Park as well as more exploring.  It’s a gorgeous day, about 65 out with the sun peeking through the clouds.  Might as well make the most of it while it’s forecasted to rain the rest of the week!
