Finally landed at Heathrow and checked in at the hotel.  I slept the whole way, but the landing was incredibly bumpy and rogue.  FaceTimed my family and a few friends to let them know I’m safe across the pond.  Tomorrow is the real journey, venturing to downtown London and figuring out the tube and train systems here.  I love the accents and short humor of the people, it’s an edgy way of communicating with brass language, but I’m laughing quite often at the funny remarks.

What’s an American?  Where in the bloody hell are you from?

Just a sampling of a few questions I’ve already been asked since I clearly look foreign and scream “TOURIST” wherever I go.  More adventures tomorrow await!
